In September I played together with fabulous „Trio SCHO“ / „Трио ШО“ in the Berlin restaurant ‚Voland‘ this famous Russian song. Listen!

Deutsch:
Gemeinsamer Auftritt mit dem „Trio SCHO“ im Berliner Restaurant-Café ‚Voland.‘

Trio Scho ist eine Musikgruppe aus Poltawa, Ukraine, die seit 1994 von Berlin aus wirkt.

Die Präsenz russischer Musik ist seit den 1990er Jahren charakteristisch für bestimmte Stadtteile Berlins (z. B. Prenzlauer Berg), in denen die Immigration von Menschen aus der einstigen Sowjetunion auch zu einer Integration geführt hat. Das Trio Scho steht mit seinen zahlreichen Projekten wie kaum eine andere Gruppe hierfür.

„SCHO“ (russ. „schto“) ist ein Slang-Wort aus Odessa und heißt so viel wie „Was soll sein?!“ Die drei Musiker von SCHO fanden sich im Jahr 1991 in ihrer Heimatstadt Poltava in der Ukraine zusammen:

• Gennadij Desiatnik: Gesang, Violine und Gitarre
• Valery Khoryshman: Akkordeon und Gesang
• Alexander Franz: Kontrabass und Gesang

Im April diesen Jahres traf ich den wunderbaren Serhat Ünal und hatte den schönen Moment, mit ihm gemeinsam singen und musizieren zu können. Ich finde, Serhat ist ein großartiger Sänger. Wir hatten einfach nur zu Hause bei unserem Freund Lucas Lehnert, der auch Sänger ist, geprobt und dieses Live-Cover von „Someone You Loved“ (Lewis Capaldi) gespielt. Ich finde es so gut gelungen, dass ich es mit euch teilen möchte. Danke an dich Serhat, für diesen sehr sentimentalen Moment! 😊

An einem wunderschönen Wochentag schob ich das knallgelbe Klavier durch die Innenstadt von Berlin mit Muskelkraft. Da kam mir die Idee, natürlich auch auf dem Bahnsteig vom Bahnhof Alexanderplatz spielen zu müssen. Was für eine großartige Kulisse und schöner Moment für die Fahrgäste, ihren immer gleichen Alltag etwas zu erfreuen.
