Here you can listen to my own version and arrangement of the famous melody of the movie soundtrack from Amélie Poulain. Originally composed by @YannTiersen, I composed some other parts additionally.

In beautiful bavarian city Augsburg I found this amazing coloured piano of „Play Me, I’m Yours!“ ..and played from the Soundtrack of the very emotional movie „Good bye, Lenin!“ this beautiful melancholic piano piece: Summer 78. It’s written by famous composer Yann Tiersen.

This is my newest composition SILENCE FOR PEACE. I composed it in 2020 in Brazil in this Hotel Lobby of the Mercure Belo Horizonte Lourdes. You could say, it was for me a magic moment to write such beautiful music. It’s not every day. Hope for a better world. 🙏☮️

Playing one of my favourite songs from Yann Tiersen called „Summer 78“, the main theme from the successful German movie „Good Bye, Lenin!“ (2003). What a masterpiece! Yann Tiersen is also the man who composed the movie soundtrack for Amélie. I like his music.

It was a very special moment to perform this song live on the Red Piano in the centre of my hometown Berlin at Potsdamer Platz – Sony Center. I hope the people there enjoyed it as much as I did. ?

Thomas Krüger – „Tagtraum“ / „Day Dream“ (Composition)

Hallo meine Lieben…
Ich habe eine Kleinigkeit komponiert.

Zusätzlich schrieb ich passend zur Stimmung ein Gedichtle, welches mir daraufhin einfiel. Es heißt „Tagtraum“, welches ein Entschwinden aus dem hektischen Alltagsleben beleuchten soll.

„Tagtraum“

Ich liebe die Ruhe und das Verlassene
Ich liebe das Schöne und das Gute
Ich liebe die Vögel in dieser Welt,
die so zwitschern; der Hund, er bellt.

Ich liebe den Meister in jeder Struktur
Ich liebe den Fluss in bunter Natur
Ich liebe den Baum, der so kräftig blüht
Der Winter, das Feuer glüht.

Ich liebe die Menschen in aller Welt
Die Sonne, die mir ins Gesicht so grellt
Das Meer, vor rauschender Kraft mir singt
Ich liebe die Berge, das Wasser entspringt.

Immer wieder vergess‘ ich mich selbst.
Immer wieder lauf‘ ich davon
Immer wieder. Bin ich nicht mehr da?
Immer wieder, kein Trost, nur Schmerz.

Immer wieder, träum‘ ich so hin
Immer wieder, fast ohne Sinn
Immer wieder, quält es mich nur
Ohne Wissen, keine Spur.

Manchmal sieht es so aus als ob
Manchmal, vor lauter Glück kein Wort
Manchmal scheint das Ziel so klar
Die Sehnsucht in weiter Ferne, ganz nah.

Eines Tages wache ich auf.
Eines Tages sieht es so aus
Eines Tages am Abgrund entlang
Eines Tages nur wie? Nur wann?
