„Light up, Light up…“

In July I went back again to the beautiful city Vienna and played the ‚Open Piano for Refugees.‘ I am a big fan of the song „Run“. What many people didn’t know is that the song was first released in 2004 by the great wonderful band ‚SNOW PATROL‘. But it became not so popular. Only with the winner of the british casting show X-Factor ‚LEONA LEWIS‘ years later in 2008 and her ballade version of ‚Run‘ the song became with the re-release an absolutely hit in the world! Incredible!

I like this song because it’s so emotional with its wonderful melody. It has a deep mention to me, because it’s for my long-time good friend Tim Kerbe! With whom I sang this often in the past.

Now you can listen to it in my own piano version.
