An einem wunderschönen Wochentag schob ich das knallgelbe Klavier durch die Innenstadt von Berlin mit Muskelkraft. Da kam mir die Idee, natürlich auch auf dem Bahnsteig vom Bahnhof Alexanderplatz spielen zu müssen. Was für eine großartige Kulisse und schöner Moment für die Fahrgäste, ihren immer gleichen Alltag etwas zu erfreuen.

On my trip to Salzburg in Summer 2020 I had the chance to play on the pianos of #openpianoforrefugees. Here it’s me playing the wonderful main song of the movie „Amelie“ by Composer Yann Tiersen („Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain“).

Open Piano for Refugees places freely accessible pianos in public places. They connect people of all backgrounds through music and collect donations for their social music institute DoReMi.
