Back at Café „Alt Magdeburg“ I played this wonderful piano version of STING’s Fields of Gold. An absolutely great evergreen! I love this song so much because my father often listened to Sting in my childhood. Years later I created my own version and play it often on my pianos. 🎶

Thomas Krüger & Just Duo 🎹 +🎷🎻

Some days ago I met these beautiful and talented people from the musical duo „Just Duo“. An Ukrainian Duo consisting of Angelina Serafimovich, who plays amazingly the violin – and Eduard Tkachenko, who’s playing saxophone and clarinet absolutely perfect! What a dream to play with such professionals. 🙏

We checked shortly the key and which songs we could play together… and so, we started! 💪

I met them at an very important and political event where I played – it was the:
„Sommerfest für Respekt, Solidarität und Vielfalt!“ An Summer festival for respect, solidarity and diversity. Executed by the association „Wandlitz zeigt Haltung“ – what means that the little German town and community Wandlitz shows attitude against Nazis and right-wing populists!! 🔥

Mehrfach wurde ich nun gefragt, ob ich noch einmal eine eigene Piano-Version vom derzeit erfolgreichen Ballermann-Hit „LAYLA“ von DJ Robin & Schürze kreieren und auf dem Klavier spielen kann. Gemacht, getan! Hier habt ihr ihn. Den Sommerhit 2022. Direkt bei einem Open Piano vor der atemberaubenden Kulisse der berühmten Wiener Karlskirche! Ich hoffe, es gefällt Euch und teilt es fleißig weiter!

This is now my own version from the popular and commercial German Mallorca-Ballermann-Hit „LAYLA“ by DJ Robin & Schürze of 2022. I was asked by so many people if I can play this song as a piano ballad in my style. There is so a big political correctness discussion in Germany about this song that many people can only laughing about that. But only because of that the song became so popular and successful. So I played it for you in front of the Karlskirche (St. Karl Borromäus) in Vienna. Hope you like it.

Amazing to play Coldplay in a beautiful atmosphere again at Café „Alt Magdeburg“ in Germany. „Viva la Vida“ is one of my favourite songs from this amazing popular band. In July I had the chance to attend their concert in Berlin for the 2nd time of my life. Viva la Vida is as well as The Scientist one of Coldplay’s most covered songs. Thanks for your music. ♥︎

Here I am!
Playing again just one song at many Upright and Grand Pianos in a piano house called „Klaviersalon Berlin“. Last time in Vienna – now in my hometown Berlin! I am a really big fan of Snow Patrol’s „Chasing Cars“. So I played a piano cover of this beautiful song and made a special piano version. 🎹
