Mehrfach wurde ich nun gefragt, ob ich noch einmal eine eigene Piano-Version vom derzeit erfolgreichen Ballermann-Hit „LAYLA“ von DJ Robin & Schürze kreieren und auf dem Klavier spielen kann. Gemacht, getan! Hier habt ihr ihn. Den Sommerhit 2022. Direkt bei einem Open Piano vor der atemberaubenden Kulisse der berühmten Wiener Karlskirche! Ich hoffe, es gefällt Euch und teilt es fleißig weiter!

This is now my own version from the popular and commercial German Mallorca-Ballermann-Hit „LAYLA“ by DJ Robin & Schürze of 2022. I was asked by so many people if I can play this song as a piano ballad in my style. There is so a big political correctness discussion in Germany about this song that many people can only laughing about that. But only because of that the song became so popular and successful. So I played it for you in front of the Karlskirche (St. Karl Borromäus) in Vienna. Hope you like it.

Here I am!
Playing again just one song at many Upright and Grand Pianos in a piano house called „Klaviersalon Berlin“. Last time in Vienna – now in my hometown Berlin! I am a really big fan of Snow Patrol’s „Chasing Cars“. So I played a piano cover of this beautiful song and made a special piano version. 🎹

The Open Piano here at the Mariahilfer Straße in Vienna is a project by Open Piano for Refugees. 🎹

Deutsch:
Letztens in Wien beim ‚Open Piano for Refugees‘ habe ich den bekannten Boogie-Woogie-Pianisten Axel Zwingenberger getroffen, der sich ebenso in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten sehr viel für den Erhalt von Eisenbahnfahrzeugen eingesetzt und diese erhalten hat, sowie eine Liebe für Eisenbahnfotografie entwickelte und auch in Büchern publizierte, sowie ebenso eine eigene Stiftung gegründet hat. Axel Zwingenbergers ‚Sammlung historischer Schienenfahrzeuge‘ wurde 2008 als Kulturdenkmal des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt anerkannt. Mehr als 20 Wagen vorwiegend aus DDR-Zeiten wurden als Kulturdenkmal von nationalem Interesse anerkannt. Die „Stiftung Kultur auf Schienen“ unter dem Dach der „Deutschen Stiftung Denkmalschutz“ fördert das Überleben, die Restaurierung und den Betrieb der historischen Schienenfahrzeuge.
